I went to the TYM America website and those little fella's are pretty sharp looking. I would like to check them out up close.

At this time TYM-America is independent but has a very close and long working relationship with TYM Korea through the President of TYM-America who is also the President TYM-International. Other than Korea and the west coast/mountain states "I think" every ware else in the world distribution for TYM is handled by an independent. Down the road though anything is possible.

PS: Will your little green TYM be in KY or CA for the big shows and will it have a loader or backhoe mounted on it by then?

Come visit us at the Ohio Power show in Columbus later this week. I think we will have a couple K-2's, a T33HST, a T400 or 450 and a T451cab. In addition we are splitting the booth with Zetor and they will have Proxima's (open and Cab, 2 and 4 wheel drive) and Forterras there. Hope you can make it.

Chipperman, the last time I talked with the president of TYM America he said Korea owned 49%.

I do not know where the confusion is but TYM-USA is owned by TYM and TYM-America is own by American Jawa. Craig the president of AJL is in Europe right now so I cannot find our where the misunderstanding is. Sorry if that is not a complete answer but hope it helps.

How could that possibly be confusing :) Three different companies distributing a tractor with the same name two of which are distributing product in two different parts of the same country....some privately owned some partially owned by TYM. Pretty straightforward to me. Just kidding, I honestly thought that TYM-USA was just using American Jawa as a distribution outlet in the east I didn’t know they were a different company. Thanks for clearing that up.

I was told by Robert Mullet that he owned 51% of TYM-USA and TYM owned 49%.

Will American Jawa/TYM America honor the warranty on TYM-USA tractors and vise versa? One problem we had was if our customers moved east they had no warranty outlet. Scorpion would not honor the TYM warranty and if a Scorpion customer came west it was the same problem. The reason I ask is I have customers that moved east that have useless 5 year warranties and I would like to let them know that they have a place to go now. It would make some people really happy

Since all of our business cards say EFC Equipment , to save money and confusion will keep that instead of EEF :)

+Last year I contacted a dealer in Montana that carried Montana tractor parts. Their service manager was extremely helpful identifying and solving a problem I was having with my R3644. I have tried downloading the parts manual for this tractor and Adobe keeps telling me the file is corrupted.. I inadvertently lost the dealer's name and number. I do know that it was a fairly large auto dealership as well as an ag. dealer. Would anyone out there happen to know the name and number of the dealership I'm talking about. I believe it starts with an S and has auto in it's name

Any luck? Maybe I can help with tracking down parts or manuals. Or computer help.

I didn't find the dealer in Montana. I had contacted them three years ago and purchased some parts. They had a service manager that was extremely knowledgeable on Montana tractors and really helped me. I have all the manuals but Koreans don't formulate verbage in English the same way we digest it. I know where to get parts but, it takes forever to get them and this dealership usually had them to me within 5 days or less. I just lost the information I had regarding their name, etc. in a flood last year. Thanks anyway.
