Well, what now? Not many reasonable suppliers left to source from. Chinese? Nobody's tried bringing any South American sourced rigs north yet, so, maybe that' s an option.
How long was the Branson/Kukje supplier agreement for? It can't possibly be more than a year or so from the way it sounded. Right now it sounds like many of the dealers may not have a lot to generate income or justify staying in business compared with their liabilites.....warranty work, overhead, etc.
Regardless, it sounds like Montana will have to completely renew their entire product line and do so in a very short period of time (6 months?) or they have nothing to market.
The dealers may now cover all obligations...........but if they're all gone in a year because the entity has ceased to exist it doesn't mean a whole lot.

Wow. First Farmtrac now Montana, and LS will sell thier machines directly in the US.
Well, it could be worse news. At least guys like me who own the LS machines (hopefully)have a parts source.

I agree with the above.Montana is just a name on an LS tractor (for those who have LS tractors).As long as LS makes tractors I'LL rest easy!

According to Montana site it says they still have a supplier agreement with Branson:

Back from the AG show in Tulare Calif. No Montana display there this year, at least not that I ever saw. They have had a good sized display the past few years, I would have to say that they are indeed in trouble. 
LS was there though, and they had a pretty good display.

Just purchased a 675DTC. for $17500.00 0% for 48 months. Alot of tractor for the money, I paid almost that much for the T2734. It nothing more than a heavy duty riding lawnmower.
I guess If I have problems with the 675 I will just repair them same as I do with my old Fords.
I have a 5000 that I have use the **** out of for twelve years and everything that has needed repair has been a simple fix. The 675DTC should last me a lifetime with no major problems, I hope.
