Buying Advice Montana vs Kubota

I have a 4 year old LS Montana with 800 hours. I have little stuff like a glow plug relay go out on it but nothing major.

Like others my dealer has disappeared and there is nothing close and if I need parts from LS I am waiting on shipping. However the tractor is a workhorse and if I do need repairs I will do it myself wether there is a dealer close by or not.

The dealer probably won't have the Montana at that point

A lot of people here on TBN swear by Barlow's...........in Kentucky I believe.
They are supposed to be a good dealer, with good prices and fast shipping(from what I've read on here).

You would be hard pressed to find folks around here that would say "Don't buy the Kubota". For what its worth.

Bottom lines Kubotas are well trust and well proven.

Montanas dont seem like a dependable tractor I've seen some guys out here with one and i know one guy who sold his because of hydralic issues Kubotas are a tractor I probably wont buy. A good friend of mine is having problems with his L3130 and is deciding over a New Holland or a Deere. I own and drive Deere's and New Hollands and never run into any problems, but thats just me.

One or even a few guys with minor REPAIRABLE hydraulic failures isn't an indictment of a whole brand.

I think there have been more than a few threads here about Kubota 3pt lift problems ?
One was about a jerky oscillation that there were several "believed" fixes for, swapping internal parts for similar parts from different models, etc.
I don't think that was resolved by the factory or by Kubota.
