I SAW THE BRAND NAME FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A EBAY LISTING LAST WEEK. SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF HP AND ATTACHMENTS FOR THE MONEY.

Again, an individual went overseas and spent around $3 million buying LG tractors (same as some of the FarmTracs). He painted them green, put new stickers on them, made a cab for that one model, and now he is selling them. Nothing trying to push anyone away from them, just putting the facts out on the table

They have Mitsubishi engines in them,yesterday was the 1st time I had heard of them. I seen an advertisement in my latest issue of Farm Equipment magazine.

Where did you get these "facts"? Are you sure he spent 3 million? Who is he? What is the relationship between him and LG Agricultural Machinery? Now if you can answer these questions you will have stated facts. What you threw out was speculation.

Hi Wiser,
I did not post the tractors on Ebay but if it is the LG2740 it is a phenominal value. IT weighs 2600lbs without the loader and the with the loader 3505lbs. The loader has a quick detach so you can swap out a bucket to a bale spear or other implements.
It is also a quick detachable loader and is easily removed from the tractor. It has a Daedong 3 cyl. diesel in it and is smooth and powerful. The trans. is synchronized for shift on the go and the shuttle is also synchronized. It is a 4x4 and the feature I think I like the best is the hydro steering.

Actually, the point was that I was putting out some specs on the tractor. Some general facts. As I recall one of the posts was something to the affect of "just stating facts" when in reality it was not facts.

I bet they would bring a demo out for you to test. I would ask them as it would give you the opportunity to use it and get a feel for the tractors. You are right on the loaders manufacturer.

I believe the Montana tractors seen posted on E-Bay are from Coastal tractor a supporting dealer here. In my dealings they have gone beyond the extra mile for making the customer happy & they are knowledgable folks/SAVVY dealers who know what they sell. Personally I bought all my major implements there & 2 new tractors. If I buy a 3rd it will be from them.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

That is a great tractor. I have some pictures I would be happy to send of one that is not a cab model but is outfitted with a 7' 6 way dozer blade and a claw bucket with tooth bar.
The 4 cyl. Mitsubishi is smooth and very very reliable. This is on of my favorites in the Montana line. In our area after much research I find it to be the best value in its class for many reason. Our competition out here is JD, NH and Kubota and when it boils down to it none has this much tractor for the money.
The tractor has the best steering I have seen as the front tires turn to 55 degrees with the hydrostatic steering. The 16F/16R synchro shuttle is very nice and the tractor is very well built.
The fit and finish is second to none. We have them out in the field being used for all kinds of work. I am a dealer and only giving my opinion. My customers are extremely satisfied and use them hard.
If you are in the market I would suggest you locate a dealer close to you and go drive one. You will be impressed I am sure.

I agree---they are great tractors.
I am, of course, a little biased---as we just added the Montana line to our tractor lineup, and they have been well accepted in our market so far.
They can be seen at the upcoming Tulsa Farm Show December 9th,10th &11th.
