If you have a 8 hp engine the 2-stage pump will be 16 gpm. The mounting pattern will be a standard 4-bolt . The pump can be replaced with any brand. Barnes/Haldex,MTE,Dynamic,IFP, Northern tool, Speeco. The US made pumps have a cast iron body, the import pumps usually have a alluminum body with cast iron mounting flange. Average price for a 16 gpm 2-stage pump is $160.

Haldex barnes is located on 15th street in Rockford, IL

WF & John Barnes also had a plant in Rockford, not sure if that is still open or one of the many that has been closed and moved.

A friend of mine has a John S Barnes GC-6016 BA RD 2 1 M hydraulic pump and asked me to see if he could use it on a log splitter he is building.
He has no idea about the specs on it.
Can anyone tell me what they are?
