This will be my first winter here in northern New York with my 1602D. I asked about starting and received some great info from TBN. Made me wonder what other things I should consider for cold weather operations. I run JD303 and JD motor oil. Any help or personal tips would be much appreciated. Also, has anyone had experience with rear mounted snowblowers on this size tractor? I don't have one and was wondering what size/type I should look for.
As allways thank you.

I have a Yanmar hydraulic angle snow blade that may fit your tractor. Make a fair offer if any interest. Came off of a YM155D .

Thank you for the offer but I don't think a plow blade would work well for me.

I have no idea if it would filt your model grey tractor. i will be happy to get a few photos for you. Approximately 48" wide ( I will measure). 3 hydraulic cylinders for up/down and left and right. Has the control valve. I do not have the undercarrage bracket as it was used to mount the loader i have. I wish I could be of more help to you. I have never had it mounted or used it. If you are handy with steel and a welder, I'm sure you could get it to fit any tractor. As stated earlier , make offer if interested.

Telephone man, I live in northeast Ohio and I use a Allied 60" snowblower on my F15D. It's a little large for my tractor but I got it to work pretty well. I had to shorten the driveshaft a few inches and the adjustable mount's to get it closer to the tractor so I could keep the front end on the ground. I also added some weight to the front that I made from a 4" PVC pipe with some scrap steel and concrete in it. It works well, The only thing that took some getting used to was: If you back into a large pile you have to put the tractor in netural and let it clear itself. One word of advise if you want one get it soon they only make so many and after they are gone you have to wait till the next year. Last year I got the last one.

Woods also makes a very good snowblower, but they are pricey.
