We have just started receiving about 5 calls per day from people who just bought a "new" "Yanmar" F395, F255, or F415 and need parts. It looks like these are more of the Kukje tractors like the F455 that has been discussed previously. See pictures below.

Anyone have any experience with these or should we add these to the models to avoid list?

Until you find out what it really is and how to get parts, I would avoid these. They are double grey market--tractors impersonating grey market tractors.

"They are double grey market--tractors impersonating grey market tractors."

Well said, Doc, I was just wondering if there could be such a thing as a gray market "knockoff".

Aaron,

They appear to have some Korean DNA. Too bad as they are nice looking tractors....

Are the calls concerning maintenance items, or are they broken down and need mechanical parts and repair?

Regards, Mark

Mark, most of my calls on these tractors have been for manuals & filters.

Most of our calls have also been for manuals but there have been a few other serious parts (hydraulic pump, gears, head gasket). It just started all at once. I guess a big load of them just made it over here.

One inquiry here....fully expecting that Branson dealers could get parts because the tractors have a Kukje heritage, and Kukje makes Branson. I'm betting this is a sales line. Buyers will be sorely disappointed, as Branson dealers parts access is through BRANSON, who is not likely to ask Kukje to supply parts for a machine that competes with them.

These things have the potential to be highly expensive orphans.

How are they being sold as yanmar?

Seems they would be better off not selling a Yanmars since Yanmar is being so bold in opposing gray's.....Yanmar might let you order engine parts for these... I can't say. I can't say where you would get parts for the rest of the tractor either.. They do look like work horses though.....

All the above links are bad now. What is the story on these Yanmar F395 tractors? Have an opportunity to purchase one with 1700miles, but want to know what I am getting into.
