I Heard an Irish golf commentator say ......... regarding a divorce but applies to EVERYTHING....

.乃here is HIS truth, HER truth and THE truth.

And Regarding all this phony PC crap, the same Irish announcer said that the Irish don稚 care what you call them, the fighten Irish, the drunken Irish, doesn稚 matter, they don稚 care. He was removed from CBS Masters TV coverage for his comment that the greens at Augusta are so fast it seems they have been bikini waxed. You just don稚 say things like that regarding the Masters.

BTW I知 the son of a Irish immigrant, my grandfather worked on the titanic. Please don稚 tell any lawyers...PLEASE!

You can rest easy. I am not licensed any more. My ancestors came here from Donegal in the late 1600's...FWI worth, I don't think reparations are in order...and I suspect the statute of limitations has run a long time ago.

Im sure ifn I thought about it there is somebody or bodies that owe me something.
I guess that makes me a victim.
Heaven forbid I think of any injustice that could have happened to my fore fathers.
Truth be known my family over the years has caused about as much or more than it got in return.
I guess that makes us even.

Speaking of reparations......I have no idea of how we could ever give reparations or who we would give them to in a fair way. I highly doubt that it could be done because the people who have to give out the money are not the people who did the wrong and the people getting the money are not the people who were wronged.

In my area, (New Orleans area) if anyone was treated badly enough to be due reparations it would be the Irish. Read my link below to see how thousands of them died building the Basin Street canal because slave owners would not let their valuable slaves do that dangerous work. Slaves were much more valuable at that time than immigrant Irishmen who died by the hundreds every day trying to feed their families.

This dangerous work went on for many years with thousands of migrants doing the dirty work and dying for next to nothing as my grandfather did while building the Panama Canal. It would be impossible to give reparations to ancestors of those who lived a hard life in the past by ancestors of those now living because every color, religion, and nationality has been on both sides of that fence whether they be white, black, native American, Oriental or something in between.

America is the greatest country in the world with millions dying to live here and Americans have for years been trying to make this the land of opportunity for all of our citizens and the main difference between our population now is because some are willing to work for what they want and some want to have it all without working. In no other country are people allowed to demonstrate, protest and commit various acts of violence and destruction in order to get something they are not entitled to as in America and someday, we can only hope, that through law enforcement, education of the masses, and equality for all, that we as a country will not self-destruct.

Let's start by ceding the country of Germany to the country of Israel; perhaps half of Italy...maybe we could send half the GNP of Spain to the indigenous people of South America and half the GNP of the Middle East to indigenous Africans; I'm sure the Neanderthals could use a few furs and trinkets from Cro Magnon, but that problem solves itself really.

War, conquest and exploitation have left a lot of victims in their wake; it's time we recognized the human condition, pulled up our big boy britches (cowboy up!) and moved on down the road. My ancestors came from Donegal, England, Germany and Native America...maybe we should send a bunch of IOU's back and forth till everyone gets bored. I have profited much more by recognizing that the problems I am facing are my problems alone than I ever did for blaming someone else and waiting for them to pull my *** out of the ditch. The concept of reparations is absurdity at its finest.

Here's my random musing for the day:
Why does the same temperature setting on the thermostat not work for both heating and cooling?

You'd think you'd find a temperature that feels comfortable and just leave it at that, but it turns out I like my A/C set at 78 and the heat set at 68.

Because it costs too much to maintain that level. My heat is set at 62, but I dang sure ain't cranking the AC down to that or trying to maintain 78-80 with the furnace. I'd go broke quick. What I wear or don't makes up the in between.

Holy Crap!!!

We're opposite. AC at 70F, heat at 72F.
