The other thread made me do it. :)

Since I've been spending so much time and money on my 50 plus year old plow, I thought I might just step up and get me a new one that I can get parts for.
Another reason for deciding to go new, besides the parts issue, is the fact that there are NO two bottoms available used, at least that I've found in months of searching.

So I priced out this plow...
Overum Reversible Plows

and this one...
KUHN.com [en] - Ploughing - Master 102 T - 2 bodies

The second one, the Kuhn, is $9550 delivered to my door and is the lower priced of the two!

Oh well,
scratch that idea.

There are some really good used plows out there if a person doesn't get in to big of a hurry. Farm auctions are the best place. About 4 years ago, I picked up a MF model 66 three bottom that looked new for just $135.

You might try Sweet Farm Equipment, they have a lot of used 2 bottom plows. There have been several members here that have bought used equipment from Sweet and had it shipped to there home.

Jerry, my passion is rollover plows.
two bottom rollovers are hard to find.

Come east my friend, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a used two bottom plow. They are everywhere you look.

Yes, but cross the PA OH border and they vanish again. I've been looking for a year or more and can't find one in my price range. I've found lots of junk for 200+, and some nice ones for around 500. for me to get to Pittsburgh I am looking at about a 2+ hr drive one way. Sometimes I wish I lived in ohio for access to cheap farm equipment, then I realize I wouldn't be cheering for Penn State, the Pens, and the Steelers and I begin to like PA alot more:D

Yes, but you're talking one way plows, right?

Who built that plow?? I would love to have one like it.

I second the comment about loving roll over plows.

This is not mine, but I love it.

Maybe next fall, I will go see his farm, and get some pics of plowing first hand. :)

I have not logged on for a few days, but yes I am generally talking one way plows. But that having been said, I have seen more than a few roll overs over the last five years.
