Thanks. That's what's nice when they do a highway job 10 minutes from your house. That's the gravel that was dug out after they stripped the asphalt so it is a lot of 7/8 crushed gravel mixed with pit run. So I hauled ten loads home.
I used to have a fill pit up my back yard (it's now a pine plantation) and it was all loamy sand that the roads were made on. The hills are pretty steep and there isn't proper ditching or crown yet, so the gravel will be nice to build it up. Eventually I'll get it all done with the B. it's just fun for me, so I don't bother floating the big backhoe out here from the yard in town.
Baby Grand, the truck is a 2013 Western Star 4900 with a DD15 Detroit Diesel, pony trailer is an old Raglan. It's pretty dirty as the roads are still all gravel out here and they are watering them daily.
