More Than One Way To Catch a Critter...

I've got a Havahart trap and they don't miss. I used to use a small amount of canned tuna in a can lid and it worked really well, but had to change it after a couple of nights if nothing came around. An old neighbor told me that he used aluminum foil or something shiny to trap coons. I tried a piece of aluminum foil waded up in a ball and it works, trap stayed set for three or four days before one came around.

To save $$$$ with better results I used to use x-GF's undergarments and never had to change bait.

Don't let any of us westerners compare our moles with your groundhogs. That critter is huge. Our moles are the size of brown rats.

Would that be used as a bait or a repellent?

Well I just got done cleaning up our city yard dog, hes gotten 3 hogs this year... all yearlings and getting bigger this one I just bagged up was probably 8~10 lbs.

dang **** got nipped this time in the lower jaw/lip he yelpped and in a second that was all it took for him to get a little POed at it. Nothing like my old dogs were you could hear hog bones crunching 30 yards away...
