Moronic drivers

Had a co-worker he got his CDL permit so he had rode with me a couple of trips and he was supposed to drive one day. After a day of jumping the truck and grinding gears he still couldn't master a shift with or without clutch. He decided to shift in an intersection while making a turn after stalling twice. Missed the shift couldn't find the gear he came out of so I took the shifter put it in gear and shifted the rest of the gears home (about 3 miles) from the passenger seat. He never wanted to drive again. The bad part is he spent a week driving that truck in the lot before our road trip.

Some people can't walk and chew gum at the same time.

I didn't have any idea those were so hard to drive.

They're not. Been in one since I was 18. The first guy I worked with also made sure I could handle the truck before he turned me out in it. Told me "every time you press the clutch you wear it. And the clutch is only needed for direction changes and stopping." I still live my that.
