mosquito magnet success/failure stories?

I've found that in my area the octynol attractant is effective early in the year with the small black mosquitoes, but when the larger asian tiger mosquitoes get to be a problem the octynol doesn't work. I've been removing the octynol attractant and it's effective with the propane (CO2) only for the asian tiger variety.
I've also noticed they have a different attractant at the MM website but haven't tried it as it's not been available at the local stores yet.
We bought the MM a couple of years ago because my wife was taking chemo treatments due to cancer and have found that it makes a noticeable difference but doesn't get rid of all of them. I also use a propane fogger several times a week around the house and it is helpful to keep the grass cut pretty close on the place (20 acres). When the pasture is high they seem to hang out in there a lot!

I'll rate my Mosquito Magnet as an OK. To answer an earlier question a 5 gallon bottle last about 3 weeks. Between the cost of the unit and propane I am not sure it is cost effective. We have the Asian Tiger's here so I use mine without the Octynol attractant. They have an attractant for Asian Tigers but my dealer has not been able to get it from his distributor. He was also unaware that you should not be using Octynol for Asian Tigers. Proper placement is very important for them to work effectively. The wind must blow past the magnet and carry the scent to the source of the mosquito. If you are in middle the mosquitos will actually be attracted to you. I think I will look into a fogger.
