Yes, we call them POLITICIANS don't we? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
But on a serious note, I had 2 of the mosquito magnets that ran off of a propane tank. I found that in MY CIRCUMSTANCES they were basically ineffective. Each situation is different, but for those to be really effective they have to be situated so that the area to be protected is relatively sheltered from prevailing winds (even modest breezes) and that the unit must be situated in an area where the bugs can be drawn to them. I was trying to protect a couple of patio areas on top of a ridge that are exposed to mild breezes and found that it simply was not possible. I could reduce populations in the woods (where I don't go) and in other places (where I don't go) but the lights of the patio areas and the people and pets that occupied those patios were far more effective magnets than the propane powered things.
