Most hours on a compact?

How many hours do you have on your 2400? I just turned 940 on mine this morning. Absolutely LOVE my 2400, was out working with my Father-in-law this morning on his new JD4115 and have to admit that the 2400 feels like it puts the power to the ground a little better. I was surprised, because the JD weighs about 300 pounds more but didn't seem to pull the box scraper as well as the Kubota. The Deere is also much noisier from the seat too. The little Yanmar really hammers away whereas the Kubota is fairly quiet even under load.

I read somewhere that most CUTs should get between 4 and 7,000 hours before needing a rebuild. The most I've seen was 4500 hours on an old Massey 135. John

The proofmeter on my 1954 NAA was broken in the 5xxx hour range.. and the proofmeter in my 8n was broken in the 3xxx hour range... when I got them.. And obviously ran years ( decades? ) like that .
