Cousin ran his mothers TC33d into pond nose first and motor shut down. He drained all water and pulled inj. but can only turn engine back and forth a few inches. Suppose its got a bent rod. Never worked on this one. Will the oil pan come off without pulling engine and is there anything in valve train that may cause this. New to forum and thanks.

HI. Welcome.

Are you sure all the cylinders are empty It could have bent a rod but usually they break on a impact like water in the cylinder. Drain all fluids if that has not already been done (oil, gas, trans, hyd.
The crankcase could be full of water preventing the piston from traveling down. Replace all filters (air, oil, trans, hyd.).

Thanks for reply. They had already drained fluid and I had them to pull injectors in case there was water on top of pistons(it would push out). Engine was only part in water but figured I would pull head and check for rod bent one at a time.
