MOTOR QUITS WHEN I PULL SWITCH TO ENGAGE MOWER OR SNOWBLOWER ATTACHMENT

If your engine running as it should? I had this issue on a mower and it turned out to be the carb needing cleaning was not running with the torque it was suppose to.

First stem in trouble shooting....how is it dying?

Are the mower blades "attempting" to run and its just too much load on the tractor? (bad clutch, clutch air gap, spindle bearings seized, etc)

Or is the motor dying as if you just turned the key off? And mower blades arent even attempting to engage? (safety circuit or something else electronically)

Depending on "how" its dying, there would be two totally different diagnostic proceedures

Don't think that the LX had a backup safety switch.. the electric PTO field coil may be dead shorted
