No offense taken, my technique on motocross tracks is not the best and my bike is really set up for rocky trail running so the suspension is set a bit softer for the intial stroke and my tires are not the right compound or design for the dusty hard pack that was there that day.
I have been riding for 25 years
16 bikes acctually in that line up, you can't see 2 of them on the end. The line up is every bike that either me or my Dad ever owned except 2 that he sold in the 70's. No, no water buffalo's in the collection (yes I know what they are and have seen a few). However I do have a couple of 3 cylinder bikes.
1973 Kawasaki S2 Mach II 350cc (first bike I rode on the street after turning 16)
1969 Kawasaki H1 Mach III 500cc
1968 Kawasaki A7SS Avenger 350cc (rotary valve twin)
close up of the 1974 Kawasaki KZ400 I bought this for $75 and fixed it up and rode it for years putting 80,000 miles on it.
1974 Yamaha SC500
Same bike, 1978 base of Webster pass. My mom and dad were camping.
My dad in a 1988 race, same bike. Made the paper.
In staging...
1970 Kawasaki F9 "big horn" 350cc (rotary valve single)
Sometimes I want more comfort when I haul my bike to the trail head
Riding my 1974 TY250 trials
Bought my Dad a Harley for his birthday one year. I am not really a Harley fan, don't hate them just don't have any interest in owning one, even though I did for a short period of time. Local paper heard about it and published this.
