Just curious....why did you go from the EX 450 to the LX 450?
Oh, and you need to update your signature line! :D

Ha ha, thanks for reminding me, signature is now updated!

There were a few reasons I upgraded... Seriously stout loader, telescoping three point hitch arms, electric-hydraulic pto engagement, power reverser, increased three point hitch weight capacity...

I was super happy with the Ex450, but with the "Free Loader" promo, couldn't resist the chance to upgrade.

I would go with a good size Jd and a good mid size excavator

Great lookin rig! Assuming the forks and bucket are quik-attach? And any other skid-steer attachment will also fit?
That's whats driving me to a LX. My 7532 requires bolt on bucket and forks.....at least an hour to change, not to mention a few choice words.....

Land clearing, i would say a compact track skid steer. I have done land clearing with skid steer loaders, both with and without rubber tracks and they are very useful machines. John Deere makes some of the best compact track loaders available. I convinced my step mom to get a CT322 and she absolutely loves it, more than the cat 257 she used to have. I have lifted 4k pounds with the CT322 before, it is more than capable for my grapple, you can use pallet forks to ply under the smaller stumps and just drive forward and curl back and they come right out. John Deere also did very good on the stability, the CT322 can drive places that you could not even consider getting a compact tractor. I would say a John Deere CT332 would fit the bill, a little bigger than the CT322 and some incredible lifting capacities, you can do some serious work with one.

Yessir, it is the standard skidsteer style quick attach... Going from bucket to forks took a good, oh, two minutes or so. :)
