OK, this maybe too dumb for anyone else to have asked, but I'll try it.

Just hypothetically could a block of Prince SV control valves be mounted on the back of a tractor with the quick connect couplers threaded into their in/out ports ? Assuming correct thread matching or suitable adapters.
It seems that this would eliminate the need for a separate quick connect mounting panel, two short hoses (per control valve) four joints, etc. and some space wasting clutter around the back of the tractor.

That's exactly what I've done, if the QC location and the lever location are close it seems to be a decent solution. The downside is that the QCs are kind of long so you'll likely want to consider right angle connectors (especially if the levers aren't recessed into a protected area), the upside is that you have fewer hoses to route since the QC "hoses" are just Male to Male connectors.

Perfectly acceptable, it's been done MANY time, and there are lots of pictures if you search for them.

Here's how I did MINE:D

Another thing to consider is placement of the control valve where you can get to it easily while operating the tractor. How about the spacing between outlets on the valve, is there enough room for the QD's to be next to each other? You might have to make one short and one long and then you need to be able to get your hands in there to click them on and take them off easily.
Other than that, there is no reason you couldn't do what your said.

Thanks for the reply,
The sections seem to be 1 3/8 or 1 1/2 inches "thick", so yes it might be a bit tight getting at the middle ones if I decide to use 3 (or more). Working ONLY from pictures and published dimensions, there seems to be a lot more space between the two ports on any particular section. Right now my plan is to buy all the bits and lay them out, if it looks as if it will work I will get the male/male pipe nipples, probably half of them long and half of them short so I can stagger the layout. I might make up some short of a sleeve pusher if my fat fingers can't get in there when glove season starts (soon).
I will probably mount this on the flat sheet metal behind the seat on the right, with the handles up. That should be reachable from the seat and/or the ground when I'm hooking up.

Thanks everyone else for your replies too.
