Backhoe Mounting HWO4X Backhoe to Jinma 284

This may or may not help you, but I thought I would offer some pictures of my Jinma 254 seat setup. The prior owner had a frame-mounted backhoe but sold it separately. The seat has a simple swivel post (easily fabricated post within a post) with a retaining pin for 2 possible fixed seat positions. It then slides on rails front to back so that when spun to the back you can shift it closer to the hoe.

Off topic but I like your log skidding rig. Did you make it or buy it?

Thanks, I made it out of one of these "A" Frame Brackets which I cut at 45 degrees, drilled and re-welded along with a set of skidding tongs from Northern and some chain to keep the pulling point on the draw bar. There's another utility hook chain stowed around the rig in the seat photo that I use separately for pulling brush bundles and isn't part of the skidder.

I shamelessly copied a design I saw here, because I couldn't stomach the $650 cost for what I knew was less than $100 in materials. It was simple enough to make and works better than I could hope for.

Here's some more pix taken before I did the Oliver Green paint job on the tractor.
