Hi Jeff; Got my coil cords at HF also. Cigarette lighter cords.

I was getting flyers at home at one time, but they seem to have stopped coming. I guess I need to ask for them again.
POWERSHOP, wish I had know they had those lighter cords before I bought all the straight wire and adapter plug. But since I had already done so, I just made up a long straight cord. I had purchased a coiled cord and the amber strobe along with a different magnet before I knew about the round grounding blocks from HF. Sure would have cost me a lot less at HF. I paid $65 for the strobe, cord and magnet at a truck supply. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif John

Can I get a photo of your electrical outlets that you mention here. What I would like to do is tap into the wires on my bota that are hot when the key is on, put a fuse or some type of connecting block there, put switches on the lights, then have a cig lighter output for my sprayer or other items, with a switch on the fender or dash for it and the lights

thanks

Danny, sorry I didn't respond quickly. I've not been coming in much for a while as you may know.
Do you want pics of the cig. lighter outlet that I hooked into the wiring? This comes on when the key is in the on position. Into that, I plugged in a double cig. lighter outlet that has a 10amp fuse built in. I then can plug in the amber strobe, the flood light or both, and they're double fuse protected as the line I originally plug into is fused on the tractor.
I can take pics of all of that if you want, just let me know what it is you need. John

I'd like to see pics of your tractor wiring hook ups for the lights. Tie-ins to the tractor wiring is the part of this light setup I'm still unclear about. Thanks.

I'll try to get pics up within the next couple of days. I may as well do pics of all the outlets as well in case that's what Danny wanted.
POWERSHOP, thanks for this original post. These magnetic lights are working out great. John

It's Friday 12/03, and I haven't had a chance to get the pics yet, but I'm planning on getting them tomorrow after work. Sorry for the delays guys. John

I'm still rounding up the magnetic grounding blocks and cord, planning to stop in Harbor Freight tomorrow. Look forward to seeing your pics to complete the "picture" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Here are the pics I promised. I bought the flood light from Walmart, Under $10 but I don't remember the exact price. In the picture, you'll see the magnetic grounding block (Harbor Freight on sale $3.99 each, $7.99 reg.) attached. Note how the bolt goes up into the block so that it doesn't hit on what you connect it to. John

The connections for the 12V outlet come out of a wiring harness just behind my SMV sign and gas tank on the CK20. They are "bullet" connectors. These connections are powered when the key is in the "on" position.
