I did pretty much the same thing. I can put a rotating amber light on the top of the ROPS for snow plowing, or extra floods pointed any direction I like. All with a couple of cig lighters mounted under the seat. Never had a problem, and when this thing is all lit up it looks like an accident scene.. nobody who isn't blind could possibly miss seeing me. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Did the lights mount right to the magnets or did you have to do some modifications? That is a great idea. I saw where someone mounted lights underneath the ROPS so they didn't hit them when mowing under trees. Your idea allows one to put them under the ROPS and you also can turn them backwards if you need to.

Another option-
I was at Walmart yesterday and they were selling magnetic-attach worklights in the automotive section for $14.88 each. They were rectangular, had a pretty long straight cord, and plugged into a lighter socket. Round magnets were strong enough to hold vertically.

Oh, and they also sell weather-resistant power sockets. The wires are "molded-in" to the assembly and there is a gasketed, spring-loaded door over the hole.

Yep, Murphy's Law. As soon as I ordered something I find I can find it cheaper and easier some place else. Oh well I will have fun wiring everything in. I also want to put a flat plug where I can plug the lights in or plug in my sprayer.
