I had one of my employees and good friend give me a nice 10'X16' shed. I found a guy to move it for me for $5 bucks a sq foot within 20 miles. Not a bad deal.

This is the little girl that drives one of my rigs for me and gave me this building. She is quite a ham & loves the camera.

So we had to move the building from her back yard to mine. It is early spring here in Massachusetts so the ground is very soft in places. This is the path we have to use to pull the shed from her back yard.

The guy I hired to move the building did it with a ramp truck. We stated by lifting the building with the ramp and cribbed it up. We did this several times. The strategy is to remove 1 of the side rails on the ramp and let the shed run up the other side rail as a guide.

The ground is pretty soft behind the building. It is all wet land out in the back here. We had to swing the shed around to pull it onto the ramp where the ground was more solid.

Well it took about an hour & half to load the building onto the truck. It is overhanging 1 side by 2 feet. We strapped it off and are ready to move it out of the back yard.

We we are up on the street ready to go and we have no damage.

OK we made it to my place, it took a bout 30 minutes or so to make the ride over. We moved the building to where I wanted it and the truck went down to the axle into the soft ground.

Well we are close so we just unloaded it where we are. I broke out the tractor and hooked it up to the truck and it was all we needed.

So here it sits off spot & out of level. I decided leave it where it is rather than do more damage to the yard with the truck. My weekend project is to set the building in place with rollers and the tractor. Should be a nice day.

I was very pleased with the entire move. I was originally going to dismantle it and reassemble it here. I looked into moving it whole and it turned out to be a much better option. I have a very nice building for $800 & it is the same color as all the other buildings on my property.

Well I have it pushed into place, all I have to do now is level it.

You just can't get a good building any cheeeeeper than that.

Shoot a few hoops and then level it.:D
