Movement of 3 PT Hitch pins

I have a JD 4100 with he same issues the Lower Arms hit the tires I have also considered putting 3in. wheel spacers on to help but they are not cheap so I'm going start with the reversal of attachment pins first. I'm not sure if it's because of having Turf Tires on or not

Question on hitch pins on implements. Is there a reason that I can’t reverse two lower pins so that they point inward instead of pointing out? I recently picked up a Patu chipper and where the bottom pins are mounted I have to spread my 3 pt hitch arms so they almost rub the tire to hook them up. Once they are on the pins they don’t touch the tires but it is real close. I know there is a balance issue I need to worry about but I don't want to move them a whole lot, just enough to make it easier to hook up and not rub the tires.
You can move the inward. Some attachments like scoop pans are made so they are easy to change the direction of the pins. I would however make sure the chipper is on the ground when using, kinda of a common sense thing to do.
