Me cheap also. But when I make my tree limb picker upper, which may double as forks for light pallets, I should be able to lift right up no chain. well only if strong enough.

Yikes! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I hope you have a weight box on the back to counterbalance it /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif when you lift that thing.

But that is a clever way to move implements. I am looking at installing a bucket ring for my BX2200 I would like to find one already welded on a metal plate with predrilled holes so I could drill through the top of the bucket and attach it. I don't have a welder and don't know how to weld, aww dagnabbit /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm sure a trailer or body shop could do it for you. Then again its' easier for them to just weld it on your bucket. Probably woudn't be much for the welding and metal.

I just had the ramps for my car trailer reinforced. They welded on angle iron 6' long, eight peices total for $40. This included straightening my ramps. Those suckers are back breakers now!
