Moving kid's swingset - redneck style

Very clever, I bet the kids wanted to ride in it didn't they? Yes, bet the neighbor's really enjoyed that one. The next day at work I bet half of them were going, "hey, you'll never guess what I saw our new neighbor doing?"

It may have been easier on the trialer, but, what fun is that.

OKnewguy, agree that looks and sounds to nice to leave behind.

Thanks for sharing guys.

Eddie your are right, it is to nice to leave behind. I wish I could have straped an axle on it, that would have been so much easier. Good job with the swingset, a man can do pretty incredible things with a little imagination.

Looks like it worked out pretty well!

I have a question for you also. What size wheels are those R4 tires on? They look like the same size as the ones on my 4010 but I have turf tires. I have been considering changing to R4's for traction and also because I think the turf are a little overloaded with the FEL on.

Off hand I do not recall what size the wheels are. I can check tomorrow.

I've been thinking of putting turf tires on the front to lessen compaction while mowing. The R4 fronts are pretty narrow. Good for traction though.

Two years ago I got this Island from Costco if you know what I mean. It is a tube to be blown up about 12 feet across. Pretty nice thing, part of it has net for bottom and kids can wade in water, we like it a lot.

Anyway, back than I didnt have a compressor - tried to blow it up by mouth - LOL. Eventually I gave up and loaded it in my Jeep with the kids and a dog and took it to Sheetz. Sheetz has free air in our area. It took us about 30 minutes at the gas station to fill it up. When it was full I tied it to the roll bar of the Jeep - CJ7, size of a wrangler and drove it home. With the speed over 30 miles it would flap up and down, I could see nothing in rear view mirror - but it was a lot of fun and we made it home safe.

Now that was funny!

I can see the store employees inside wondering just what the heck you were up to. You even brought the dog along, hah!

Thanks for the laugh.
