Used a lot of Sherwin Williams "Health Spec" at the Hospital... good coverage and very low odor... I think they changed the name.

Also Kellymore is popular here too.

Still use Zinsser Mildewguard where mildew might be a problem and I have had some problems in the past... it really is a problem solver.

Had one home where renters would never open a window... Mildewguard did the trick.

Glidden is a contractor grade paint. You can get a lot of it cheap, but it's of poor quality compared to the premium brands. I put Sherwin Williams at the to of my list for paint, but think the Valspar Premium is really good for a lower price then Sherwin Williams. Behr used to be good, but it's down there with Glidden and Olympic now.

Eddie

I must be lucky as I have never had anything but success with Behr. Hopefully I can just get through this project with that luck. :)

I use what my clients want me to use and sometimes it's Behr. I used to love it, but since they joined or bought out, or where bought out by Kilz, their paint isn't the same as it used to be. I'm not a fan of Kilz and whatever happened when they became the same company had a negative impact in Behr.

It gets the job done, it's just not like using some of the other paint brands that I like better.

Behr was one of my go to paints... always had good results and their PVA primer sealer was tops for new drywall.

I think Behr is now part of the Home Depot family??? One of my painter friends said it had been reformulated... then again just about everything in California has be reformulated or it's no longer available

Buick,
Our Dream. My wife likes the idea of space and privacy, and she's allergic to horses so I never have to worry about that. We are just ready to get out of the rat race and live a simpler life.

Eddie and ultra,
I don't paint enough to notice differences and reformulation. The first 5 gallon bucket of the behr paint and primer in one covered really well and I was happy with it. Hopefully I am as lucky with the second bucket. Eddie, if I were hiring someone to do a job I would give them control over what they wanted to use. They would know better than I.

When I used to paint for a living in florida, right after the War of Northern Aggression, we used Coronado paint. I've seen that last 30 years and still look good! Actually, it lasted longer than that on me Georgia house. Sherwin William is good now. Paint changes, have to learn what's good nowadays.
