Are you guys all city guys? Us "Farmboys" call 14 hours on a tractor a short day. With no rock picking or bale hauling, it's an easy day too.

yeah ! and your not driving a tractor on paved back roads with a history of every gremlin that has ever visited a Kioti also the driver has to rely on a dealer to fix it constantly , As far as being a "farm boy " I'm clearing land for 160 apple trees and your welcome to come down and run the backhoe pulling stumps anytime you feel like you need another 14 hour day !

If the dealer opens at 7:00 he will need to leave home at 3:30. If the trip is 14 hours plus 1 hour for meals and bathroom breaks that would be a 15 hour trip. He will be at least 12:00am the next day getting home. I think realistically he will be 2:00 or 3:00AM getting home. Has this tractor ran 14 hours problem free:confused3:

I personally think it is an awesome idea. That is however coming from someone who rode a motorcycle from near Raleigh, NC to Anchorage in 6 days by myself. I get what you are saying, there are many on here who won't. Don't listen to them. Go with your heart. The worst thing that would probably happen is you may need to call in a truck and trailer. Pack a cooler with snacks and a sleeping bag for the extra enjoyment of it. If you lived near here I would take you up on it, do the ride then turn around and ride it back just because.

On a similar note I also rode about a thousand miles to go "see" Niagara falls. Took my nephew along with me on my goldwing. We rode right past it I told him to take a good look. We never got off the bike and kept on riding. The look on his face was priceless... As was the time we spent together on the trip.

If you don't now, consider taking a journal and record your experiences and thoughts. These are fun and interesting to read later and the kids or grand kids will enjoy them too.

Go for it!

There is a big difference between a cruising motorcycle and tractor with deep cleat tires that won't go over 15 MPH.
