Well, six - I've tried to find this info before. It must be a national secret - total rainfall, to date, Spokane, WA - . From what I can find about rainfall - 7.5 inches is official recorded low - around 18" is normal and somewhere around 28" is the recorded high. So far this year we have received around 11".
This summer has, by far, been the very driest in the 35 years I've been here.
I'm sure relieved to see the 3 1/2" of snow - this - kind of means - I have made it thru our wildfire season. At least, right here at my place. Otherwise, in the PNW - I'm sure the records will reflect that this has been one of the very worst years for wildfires.
