Update: I now own a 3 point 72" finish mower and 3 point 72" snow blower! I called the seller this morning and went over to take a look. The mower is immaculate! As new. Always stored in one of his buildings, and is perfect. The Blower has been outside for the last two years, and has some suface rust. Overall it is all there and in good working order, the paint is just a little faded and there is some surface rust as you can see in the pic. The other thing, they are both massive. Need to trailer them home. I will post some pics soon.

I didn't even haggle over the price. Once I paid him, he said he then had to reply to over a dozen people interested in the units! Now I am contemplating selling the blower or trading it on an attachment that I would get more use out of. Always wanted a box blade...

box blades are a staple. kind of like a swiss army knife of implements.. pretty much only eclipsed by a loader...

Just wanted to provide an update, and seek advice... So I picked up the finish mower and Lucknow blower over a week ago, and haven't really looked at them until tonight. Mower is perfect. Blower was not actually 72", rather it is a bigger Lucknow S65 78". It weighs 885lbs, and is for a 35-70hp tractor. Everything works fine on it, just has some faded paint and a little surface rust. It is one BIG unit!

So now I am thinking about two options:

First, I could service it and paint it. I would then keep it for that once every few years when we get a hugh snowfall in Central PA. These units new are pushing $3,000 so I would never own one unless I hold onto this one.

Second option is to sell the blower. If I go this route, now is the time to sell as we are in the middle of winter (albeit a very mild winter!!!). The problem is, I have no idea what would be a fair price... Any ideas???

Thanks for any insight!

Regards,

Amstaff

If you were closer I'd give ya $475! Around here, where in late winter there is usually 4' of snow, 60" blowers go for ~$1000 for one in decent shape.
