Mowing Mower Deck Stands

I'm considering a set of stands for my 60" mower deck on my BX2200 and wondered if anyone uses the stands marketed by the Mower deck stands folks who advertise in the classifieds on this site. It appears that the stands allow the mower deck to be stored in an upright position and to be "wheeled around." They look like a good idea but I wonder how stable they are and what other issues there might be with them? I wonder if the mower gearbox seal will leak if stored in that position?

I have been using Larry's MOWER AXLES for three years now...they are an excellent product! The mower is perfectly stable for storage and mainentance. He is also a great guy to work with.

I too have used Larry's stand for 4 years, no problems. Larry is a great guy to deal with and he mfg a great product.

Thanks for your input! Have you had any issues with the mower gearbox seal leaking while it is on the stands? I think you have the same mower I have.

Have had em for 4 years.......no leaks, great product.....store the deck upright against the wall in my garage during the winter. There's NO WAY that I could do this without them.

Yes, I do maintenance w/the MMM on the stands. R&R'ing the blades for sharpening couldn't be easier as well as allowing good access for pressure washing and scrapeing MMM down for winter storage.
I'm going on my 3rd mowing season and so far I've had no leakage from the gearbox.
Theres been some folks that have made their own and I'm sure they worked out fine but if you want a ready made solution that requires "0" modification they are ready to go.
Oh and the MMM was brand new in that pic, it's held up real good but it don't look near as pretty now.

I have them too. Saves space, easy on & off, easy to move, easy access for maintenance, great people to deal with.
