Mowing mower decks

I own a Kubota G1900 Garden Tractor with a 60" deck. This deck cuts very nicely but it tends to bounce alot while mowing due to being a Floating type mower. There are caster wheels on the back and anti scalp wheels on the front. Will the bouncing wear out the mowerdeck driveshaft or is this the way it is designed to operate? I had a suspended mower on my last tractor, could someone explain further. Thanks

Also have a G1900S with same deck,if your deck has the helper springs located on the back edge of mower,adjust these springs as tight as you can,without regard to what the chart shows.This will help your deck "float" a little better over a not so perfect lawn.Also,play with the tire pressure a little,the lower pressure will help the over-all ride of the mower quite a bit.Hope this helps,good luck.
