Mowing mower for L3800

Our Caroni flail mower was delivered last week from Agrisupply. My builder grew up on a dairy farm and since I was at work he took delivery. When he told me that the PTO shaft was too long I remembered reading here about trimming it. I mentioned this and he went to work trimming the shaft and fitting it to the tractor. He mowed the edges of our gravel drive and loves this tool, new to him. He commented on how quiet it runs and what a nice cut it makes.

I got on and mowed a rough patch in front of the build site while my neighbor raked hay on his Ford 7000.

Felt like was helping on the farm.
