( I have 5 acres in Norhtern AZ - pretty rocky with slight slope. Building a log home and am clearing the area. Looking to buy a small tractor, but am finding that the smartest thing to do might be to get a mower and remove the cutting deck. Need higher ground clearance and something that will pull attachments well. Any suggestions on brands/models? HELP! )
Welcome to TBN,
It's obvious from your question that you have never owned a SCUT ot CUT. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I too was once delusional enought to think that a garden tractor was sufficent. Once you have owned a Sub or Compact tractor you will never be happy with a garden tractor again. Any sub-compact with at least 3pt. and rear PTO is soooo much more useful on 5 acres than a regular GT.
