I use a commercial Gravely 20-G, 4 wheel tractor. With the low slung cast iron tranny and rear mount engine this unit climbs like a mountain goat. The 60" deck also adds loads to the center of gravity. I have a 45+% bank in the back yard comming up from our creek and have no concerns regarding stability or traction.

Yep those old Gravelys. I have an 812 and it will go places I have trouble going on foot. I made some front weights for mine for ease of steering while mowing on hillsides.
