Well it's that time of the year when alot of us go out do the mowing. This was in the paper today, it happened not more than 7 miles from me;
Man killed in tractor accident.......... A west county resident died Monday evening after his tractor overturned and crushed him, County sheriff's officials reported.
The 53-year-old Vine Hill resident, whose name was not released, was mowing a back field late Monday afternoon when his small tractor bacame stuck. He went to get a larger tractor to try to pull out the smaller one. But as he rode the second vehicle while pulling out the first tractor, it overturned, throwing him off and pinning him.
Emergency were called at about 5:20 p.m. and found the man had died. The accident happened at Vine Hill near 116."
So to everyone.....BE CAREFUL! and if you ever find yourself in this situation, get a friend, neighbor, etc. to help.
