I grew up on a farm. My first experiences driving a tractor were when I was about 8 or 9. I spend HUNDREDS, if not thousands of hours a year on one to this day. I cut my grass, then I do the mother-in-laws yard. Until my mother and father passed away, I did theirs for almost 20 years. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

You'de think I would have had enough "seat time", enough grass to cut. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

( I'm with billbill. I usually love mowing, but when it's dry and dusty my allergies and sinuses give me a lot of problems. )

I've come to wearing a respirator. I might look silly, but I can breathe afterwards, instead of being sick for a few days.
It's similar to this one. I picked it up at Home Depot.

I drove by a neighbor's pasture today and got excited that it's high enough for me to go cut. I've been watching it for weeks now, just waiting till it's at the height they want to cut. Brush cutter, here I come! John

Can't help you on the snuff, but get one of those beer hats with the tubes. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
