Do you think there are any adverse effects to your mower? Do you have to go really slow?

I take it you've mowed this several times before and aren't afraid of running over rocks. My only concern would be hitting the random groundhog hole. Do you have any issues with those?

I hope this isn't Canada thistle. Canada thistle is the only member of the family that has a network of spreading roots. The average infestation has a ten mile long root system. Never try to eradicate by tilling. Each broken root section has the potential to easily establish a new infestation.

I have been fighting mine since 1983. Continuous mowing will weaken the crop. Overseeding with grasses will help choke it out. However, never turn your back on it. If you think you've gotten it all - think again.
