Hey guys, I got my 60" mmm for my B3030 this summer and have now mowed with it about 5 times. When I mow in a straight line it mowes great, but it seems when I take any turn from 45 deg to 90 deg, the mower leaves a strip in about the center of the cut. It isn't completely unmowed, but it isn't cut all the way down. Does anyone else have this problem? Also what RPM do you mow at? No matter if I mow at 2000 RPM or full throttle, the strip gets left. Any comments/help would be appreciated. Thanks - Trav

Trav,

I have the same thing with my B7510 and 60 mmm. I think that they turn so sharply, it lifts the deck up a bit or torques it a bit. I just try to make more sweeping turns.

I would be interested to hear form the other fellas too.

I get that once in a great while with my Simplicity. I think that the mower blades have limited overlap, and it perhaps depends a bit on the timing, or orientation of the middle blade to the outside ones. On corners, with some speed, high grass, and the wrong blade timing things may add up enough to leave those strips of grass.
