SeaMonkey is still by far the best. Mozilla made a HUGE mistake in favoring the FF upstart and jetisoning SM. The project is being kept alive by a few volunteer programmers, but I don't know for how long.

I like my Firefox and have never heard of Seamonkey.
Guess I do a search on it.

IMO Firefox is the best web browser available. Going to be a great loss if Mozilla goes bankrupt.

Meh. IMHO they're all about the same. Each seems to have its up and downsides. Never heard of Seamonkey. Kind of a dumb name.
Even if they stop development of FF, you'll still be able to use what you've already installed, it just won't get updates anymore.

Mozilla's been around a long time, this is not the first time they've had to deal with lean business environments and cut back. I wouldn't worry about the current announcement, I think firefox will be around for a long time. Thunderbird (by Mozilla) is also a great app too, if you like to get your email out of the cloud.

Been using Thunderbird ~20 years but I'm in the process of migrating from Thunderbird to eMClient. Nine months ago Thunderbird released version 68 which contained a bug that stopped TB email retrieval on startup. They still haven't fixed the problem. Month ago I tried to get an answer from Mozilla Support re when will problem be fixed? They failed to replied, that was the straw that broke this camel's back, RIP Thunderbird.
