Mark, why do you need more then one ball size. Could you not convert any of the smaller size hitches on any odd trailers you might have to the largest ball size? I should think that your trailer would have the largest size what 2 5/16 or so. I have converted several friends trailers from the old 1 and some odd inch balls to 2" by welding on a new hitch. I would think you have the 2 5/16" ball. Help me understand, Rat...

Thanks, guys, for all the links and info!

Rat, the reason I need to cover all the bases is that a lot of the stuff I have to move around a construction site isn't mine. When we need to landscape under something, I just move it, whether it's mine or not. Or, sometimes, whoever parked it there could get to the front of it when he put it there, but he doesn't have room to get a big truck in there anymore, so I have to move it for him. You get the idea. Once again, my needs are a little weird. At least there's a pattern... /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I think Mark truly needs them... and each time on the job site, you look up and see him coming with that EarthForce and that multi-hitch... and think to yourself... "Man, he sure has alot of balls..., on that tractor..." /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

John - No, that's still the hitch - only the one ball, convertible though it may be, just the one ball.

Mark, the one Kiphorn shows could be what you need. 3 balls and a pintle. Just imagine going down the road and coming across a young lady in distress because her horse trailer needed moving but her Suburban just blew a hose. Shes worried about the horses needing to get back in their stables before night fall. All she has is a pintle setup on her quadruple horse trailer and no one can help her because all they have is a ball setup and only one 2" ball at that. The lady begs you to help and indicates her hookup is different then most and you tell her on your way to look at her setup that it's OK, I got 3 balls and a pintle to boot. Shes impressed and was not aware that there were so many types. You kindly explain that its very simple, I simply back up, take your hole and put it on my pintle and wham bam its done. Same could apply to some of the guys at the construction site who prefer pintles. Rat...
