Mulching kit 70000-02505 for bx2360 does not fit mower deck rck60B-23bx

I bought a kit from my local dealer and cannot get it to fit the deck. I am going nuts. They just closed and I must sweat this all weekend. I am hoping a member can straighten me out. The kit is heavy steel and does not line up with my deck. I have read about other members installing them and know about needing to drill holes in the deck. My issue is that I can稚 seem to line it up. The circular blade areas (baffles) are off by many inches. I have attached pictures and I believe it is obvious but then again I am not sure. I check the original box and part number and all numbers appear to be correct. You can see that the baffle areas do not line up. What am I missing? The right baffle bracket is away from the deck by several inches, no way it will fit into the curved deck. By the way I still have my original blades on but of course will remove if i can get this to lined up.

Any ideas or comments will be appreciated.

I put the baffle plates on a bx25 4 years ago. It was a headache and took some thought to get it to fit, so that I felt safe in what I was doing. I sent the original set back and told the dealer that it was wrong. They ordered a new set and they were the same.
In your first photo, I believe the baffle should be moved to the left so the slot in the baffle will match the arc in the deck.
Are the baffles all the way to the front of the deck?
The blades do not actually turn inside the new baffles do they?

The blades must not if it fit inside the baffles if all the bolts holes are used. I just got back will follow up and let you know how it goes.

OK I have it on clamped but it is a very bad fit. One hole will not be usable it is several inches from the side of the deck. See picture. I am also concerned about the amount of space above and around the baffle. It will fill up with grass clippings. I have several pictures showing the gap and misfit. I am taking the deck and mulching kit to the dealer tomorrow. We will see.

Dealer repair shop indicated the one side did not fit correctly. Also noted that the baffles did not line up on either side. Mentioned another part I may need to buy (70000-02507?). They also noted that the wet season this year did not leaned itself to using a mulching mower. I decided to return the kit.

That is a completely different mulching kit than came with my deck. Mine is a plastic system that fits nicely in the fine cut deck. I plan to put it back on one night this week, I will try to take a photo.
