Look around and try to find non ethanol fuel for your small equipment. Ethanol fuel kills small carbs. We have it here but you have to pay premium for it. When I shut down equipment for the winter I add sea foam and stabil to my last tank of fuel. Knock on wood since doing this I have not had any problems.

I know guys that go to Marinas just to buy ethanol free fuel. In my state pump gas can contain up to 10% ethanol without disclosing on the pump
I also know guys that buy "canned" pre mix fuel for their two stroke equipment. Cheaper in the long run they tell me.

Someone else posted a link to pure-gas.org, you can enter your state and look for fuel stations that sell ethanol free gas.
The closest one near me has it in mid grade fuel.
