murray hydro drive transmission

i have a murray rider that was working fine,when out of no where the transmission quit.
i checked to see if the drive belt came off,but that was ok.and pully turning, checked linkage
and thats ok.i lost or misplaced the manual, i tried the internet,but could not find my model.which is by the way model - 46570x6b.
i bought it used but have had no problems with it til now.any ideas where i can get a repair manual to trouble shoot the transmission.
or get exploded pictures.or is there any body that can give an idea of what to check for.makes no noise when pedal is depressed or
when it happened. please send any answers to - Yahoo i would like to get it going before the snow comes.

Try the simple stuff first.

1) fluid level
2) filter clogged (if it has one)
3) return line clogged, if external
4) linkage from peddle to trans messed up (most likely)
5) Shear pin on the pulley to the trans. Pulley could spin, but not the shaft. (also possible)

if no joy from the above, drain fluid and check for shavings. -- you may be fubar.

Many of these lawn and garden tractors use a hydro unit made by Tuff Torque. There is an epic thread about them and their care/feeding/repair somewhere over in the Cub Cadet Lawn & Garden forum, but I don't seem to able to locate it now (something like 50+ pages). They can be re-built using parts directly from Tuff Torque. Yours is probably the "K46" series, but you will need the exact model number of the transaxle. There's info about where to find that on both the L&G forum and the Tuff Torque website.

i would do all that but i lack a manual,i know more about the engines than i do the transmissions.
i was looking for web site to down load a manual but no luck. but thank you for the info. at least i know where
to start
