iMatch (quick hitch), FEL, bucket, forks, rotary cutter, tiller, blade, snow plow, carry-all ..for me.

But that depends on what your needs are. Ours may be different.

(edit...you are showing your age with this question. :D no offense intended :) )

"Must have" is strictly dependent upon what you want to do with the tractor.

In my case, "must haves" were a loader, an RFM, ballast box and a chipper.
Nice to haves are a cutter and back blade and quick hitch.

'must have'

The attachments one needs to accomplish the tasks one attempts.

It may not be an attachment but a fuel container may be the place to start.:D

One of each. That's my long-term plan.

Guys on this site were always fussing about how much they used there pallet forks, I was skeptical until I got one and now would hate to be without it.

I've only had a grapple on my FEL bucket a couple of weeks...Now I don't know how I ever got along without it...

For me, disc harrow(20x faster than tiller), bush hog, spreader, cultipacker, sprayer. Loader, root rake, pulverizer/box blade is also useful.

As has been echoed.....what do you want to do? Ask me this question in Janurary and I'd say a 3pt Mounted Snowblower and a FEL mounted Blade...Right about now I'd say:

-Loader w/Skid Steer QA, Foundry Bucket & Pallet Forks
-Power Rake

for me, the first things I got were :

FEL (came on the tractor)
Box Blade
Bush Hog

It's on my sig.... :D

Toothbar, grapple, forks, hydraulic top link. I still need to get my bucket hooks welded on, and add some lighting, and a 12 volt plug. Also add a 3 point trailer mover. JC

Necessity is the mother of invention.

i.e. The job you must do should generally dictate the tool you must have!

Now ... I'm getting an FEL with my soon-to-arrive Kubota L3940, not because I really need it right now, but because 1) I could 0% finance it at the same time, & 2) it was gonna seem silly to have no actual lifting capability with a brand new tractor. I'm fortunate in that I can borrow any of my dad's multitude of implements ... but he has nothing that I can attach to my tractor for scooping & lifting dirt, when that "need" arises.

Skid steer attachment adapter for your FEL to get you into the wonderful world of skid steer attachments.

Skid steer pallet fork attachment.

Dual hydraulic remotes (triples are better).

Well I am the same age and have a bunch of implements. For me, I'd say i use my brush hog and boxblade the most. I also have a rear blade, pallet forks, 2 imatch systems, 50" tiller, PHD, arena drag, small trailer, and a middle buster/trailer mover. Since i live at 2 houses, my implements are dispersed between homes. The pictures are the ones at my moms.
