Was out brush cutting, happened to stop for a minute and when I went to continue bota had no power. Only movement is in low gear 1st-3rd and it's basically creeeeping. Fluids all seem fine. Any thoughts? Going to replace the hydraulic filter tomorrow.

Welcome to TBN
When you state loss of power do you mean engine rpm's or something in powertrain is slipping? What type trans(manual or hydrostatic)? I presume since you mention replace hyd filter your problem is powertrain related.

This is a longshot but I had a problem with my MX5100 seat switch that caused it to momentarily lose power. Seems I was shifting my weight to look over the edge of the fender at an implement and it was not enough to cause it to cut out but too much for it to continue as normal. Short of that it sounds like a filter restriction.

Could you have something going on in your hydraulics causing a dead head situation? What about fuel filter?

I don't know the M5100, but on our M59 I had something with the same symptoms happen. It turned out to be a broken cable end on one of the cables that connects the foot control of the HST to the auto throttle. Result was that I was only able to move at an idle.
I was able to finish work - and to diagnose the problem - by first setting the ATA (auto Throttle Advance) lever to manual - which enabled me to rev up the engine with the hand throttle control whereupon the HST foot control worked more or less normally. Give that a shot. All that was really lost for a week or so was the auto throttle and auto idle which are both connected with cables to the foot control.
Repair was a $30 cable and an hour to put it on. Hope yours is so simple.
Luck,
rScotty
