Mx5100 hst pto not turning

I’m not sure if this is a problem or not..
But my hst L2501, the pto shaft turns when tractor is shut off.
The MX doesn’t.
It makes 1/2 a revolution or so, and then stops…. It doesn’t matter if it’s engaged or not, it doesn’t turn.
It does engage, when tractor is running, and seems to operate correctly, as in, it starts turning, speeds up with rpm, and it does stop when the clutch is pressed in.
I haven’t attached anything to it yet, because I’m wondering if this is normal.??

Dealer salesman was out picking up the L2501 to install a backhoe.
He said it’s normal
So here’s hoping

I had a MX5100 and don’t recall this but somewhere in the back of my mind It used to move a bit.

Mine rotates about 180 degrees
I’m guessing it’s ok as I have used the tractor to drill over 100 holes up to 18” diameter
with the pto post hole digger in the last 3 days
And it hasn’t been an issue,

Pto has a wet brake. It is the same as my MX4700. it is normal as mine turns 180 till it stops. In contrast , on my Ford 1700 that has no PTO brake I can turn it either CW or CCW and it keeps on turning.
