So you understand that most of what you just wrote is incorrect? Just making sure. You have a great tractor.

Yes I do
New Operator error for sure.

Leaky loose hydro fittings in the Backhoe last week end and a Blown hydro hose yesterday not Operator error.
I need to work the bugs out. Hopefully soon.

And yes it is a GREAT tractor it is doing a lot more than I expected for the size.

Ouch. Loose fittings happen (although some in the hoe can be a bit*h to get at) but a blown hose? That is crummy luck. I'd be curious to know the model of failure if you care to share...

I bought an MX5800 with the BH92 Backhoe with a Hydraulic Thumb and the LA1065 FEL .I received it about 5 weeks ago I have just under 45 hours on it Digging a new Leach field for my Septic.

All rock and Big Boulders ( worse that Cobble) some of the Boulders are 3' X2' X2' that I have pulled out of the trench and the Tractor has been FANTASTIC.

Last week loose fittings inside the Backhoe Controls cover. Yesterday a blown 3/8" hose running from the main block under treadle peddle up to the FEL controls.

Nothing major just a defective hose.

I guess I will be ordering some back up hoses to have on hand if I am out in the Boone's where I can not get my tractor back to Snivilization.

The Learning curve sucks sometimes.

At least this was not a paying job like others on this Forum.

Make sure to read the BH92 manual cover to cover. You will find it says not to operate rear remote or 3pt hitch while BH is connected (hydraulically). You will damage your control seals if you do.

I don't think Newby is an instruction reader! :drink:

I read the Owners manual on the tractor twice but I also listen what is told to me by the dealer.
My problem is melding what is told to me and what I read together.

In this case the owners manual says to runn the tractor at a lower RPM for the first 50 hours and the dealer told me to run the tractor under 2000 RPM for the first 50 hours.

The regen said crank it up to over 2200 RPM when Regen.

Well me being brain dead I did what the Owners Manual and Dealer told me to do Run the Engine under 2000 RPM for the 1st 50 hours.

The next Regen will be well past my 1st 50 hours so I will rev it up with no hesitation.

As for post 14 I do not have any rear remotes (yet).
Thank you for the info. I will be adding them at a latter date.
