I'd bet a six pack that there is no problem with the tractor drivetrain. Hydro tractors, even 30-35hp ones loose alot of speed going uphill...... You have to ease out of the pedal and let it catch up.

Video please. Also in the video please include you challenging the trans... In other words.. Put in 4x4 when in loose dirt and ease bucket against a tree or in a pile of dirt... Full throttle low range give it some pedal and see what happens..

My 1423 does not go very good in high gear up a hill either. But I was going up a back road to help a friend, an had no trouble going up the hill in high.

This is the second thread this guy has started about his problem tractor. Things just don't add up with the story. Bad Hst drive, but yet, he limped along and put 115 hours on it. Transferred his warranty to another dealer?? I wouldn't think a warranty is dealer specific? Likes green paint. Maybe it's just me, but I'm leery.

I only find 1 thread from this poster. I think he is more disappointed in the dealer than the machine.

But why on God's Green earth would anyone want to make up a story of that magnitude, kind of makes one scratch their head. Plus, I want the time I spent reading this threat back! Forever scared now....ugh

Troll sounds about right. But why on God's Green earth would anyone want to make up a story of that magnitude, kind of makes one scratch their head....

Too many people with too much time on their hands, IMO.

why would you call him a troll if he has problems with his tractor??? If you look at his posts he has pics when it was delivered and seemed to really like it. Tractors like anything else have problems. Some more than others. geesh...

You are correct, this issue has been an on going problem and posted on before, and to be honest I don't like green paint......I like Red or even Orange! Like I stated in low range I don't have the issue...reverse is a snails pace but the tractor goes with no issues. I use the tractor in Low 99% of the time.....and Yes I used the tractor during the months I had it because I wasn't willing to be without it during nice weather. This wasn't the only issue I had with the first dealer, there were several other problems and the factory service rep (Paul Erwin) put me in contact with a dealer that was closer to me....and hopefully could fix the issues (Yes the warranty has to be registered to a specific dealer)...and maybe there isn't anything wrong and this machine.....maybe it just doesn't meet my expectations, I hope that's not the case. Let me figure out how to post a video on here and hopefully you will see what I'm taking about......and I'm NOT a TROll, fact is this thing has had some kind of issue since day one and the first dealer was an idiot, delivered with a leak, 2 times in shop still cant fix leak...because it wasn't leaking where they thought, replaced a relief valve and a pto seal when its didn't need it, they didn't even had the testing tools to check hydro pressure (that was per Paul Erwin) kept tractor for over a month for warranty repairs that didn't fix the issue. I've been dealing with this since April, and have been without the tractor for over 2 month due to warranty repair issues...I think anyone would be frustrated with the service I've received.
